The 5th Scientific conference of ornamental plants

The fifth Scientific conference of ornamental plants, with the focus on the development of Iran΄s flower market, commercial production of flowers and plants and programming and a change in production methods of ornamental plants and flowers, simultaneously with chrysanthemum festival is going to be held in the second half of Oct, this year, in national research station of ornamental plants.
 

Registration of new cultivars of chrysanthemum research station of mahallat

The registration warrant of 15 varieties of modified chrysanthemum has been issued by the seed and plant certification and registration research institute and application and technical evaluation and registration . Verification of 100 varieties has been fulfilled in mahallat research station of ornamental plants and seed and plant certification and registration research institute. Besides, evaluation and traits determination (DUS) is Fulfilled based on national judgment instructions corresponding to international UPOV instructions. Also, 200 other varieties in Mahallat national research station of ornamental plants is completed and evaluation completion for this 200 varieties is underway in the seed and plant certification and registration research institute for registration and warrant in the current year which, if God wills, overall registration of 300 varieties will be finished
